ZhongYin (Chengdu) Assists Orient AM (Sichuan) with Successful Acquisition of ¥ 1 Billion Non-financial Distressed Debt

Recently, Zhong Yin (Chengdu) Law Firm has won a bid and become the external legal counsel of Sichuan Branch of China Orient Asset Management Co., Ltd. (short name Orient AM (Sichuan)) for acquisition of two non-financial distressed debts, totaling more than RMB 1 billion from Chongqing XX Real Estate Group.

Gui Bo and Huang Kaiwen, two members of the team led by Li Xinwei, conducted due diligence on the distressed debts and issued legal opinions. After the acquisition plan was approved at an internal meeting of the client, they participated in all the way and assisted with the specific acquisition deal and the entire proposed debt restructuring. The team of Li Xinwei are highly praised by all parties for their professional legal services, efficient communication skills and rapid response. They have successfully assisted Orient AM with the 3rd deal of acquisition of distressed debt, amounting the total amount of claims of various projects to over RMB 2 billion.
