On April 26, 2018, the third “ZhongYin Lecture Hall” was hosted as scheduled. Sun Yanqing, a partner of ZhongYin, shared his experience in practice on the subject “Equity Dispute – A Smoke-filled Business War”. More than 40 people, including Li Ju, the Chairman of the Management Committee and a Senior Partner, other Partners including Deng Jijun, Lin Li, Yang Baodong, Yang Jinglin, Yu Limiao, and Yuan Xinjian, as well as some of the associates who were in the firm then, participated in the third lecture.

Sun Yanqing, by PPT presentation, combined with specific cases and practical experience, expounded and analyzed thoroughly on the origin of equity and four equity-related issues, namely “husband’s and wife’s equity”, “the rights of a dormant shareholder whose shares are held on behalf by a registered shareholder ”, “shareholder’s voting right”, and “shareholder crime”. Moreover, he expressed his opinions on the equity-related questions raised by the participants.

Li Ju pointed out that, the firm was promoting specialization and collaboration, the lawyers should clearly identify their respective advantages, enhance their practice capabilities, strengthen the sharing of experience and the collision of new ideas, show their wisdom outside the law practice to the clients, namely think from the commercial perspective for assisting in the business activities of the clients.

The lecture was well received by the participants. ZhongYin Lecture Hall will, by upholding the principles of mutual sharing and common development, continue to provide knowledge with more reference value to the lawyers.
