On March 24, 2020, represented by the team led by Hu Cuiqin, a senior partner of ZhongYin Law Firm, Wuxi Hisky Medical Technologies Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hisky”) won a commercial defamation case before the Supreme People's Court in retrial process, which rejected the petition of the retrial petitioner.

Hisky is a high-tech company founded by a team of PhDs from Tsinghua University, focusing on the development and promotion of high-end medical technologies. Hisky has developed a non-invasive liver fibrosis diagnostic equipment, which is patented in China, and has been awarded many honors in China.

Hisky has a series of intellectual property disputes with its competitors Inner Mongolia Furui Medical Technology Co., Ltd., French companies ECHOSENS and Societe D'elastographie Impulsionnelle Pour Les Systemes De Mesure De L'elasticite, and Echosens(China). The key issue in this case involves trademark rights, patent rights, fabrication of false facts to mislead the public concerned, and other unfair competition practices. The parties to this case include many well-known medical companies in the field of liver fibrosis diagnosis at home and abroad and it is a complicated case.

After taking the client's engagement, Hu Cuiqin's team set up a case team, which conducted in-depth research on multiple intellectual property cases related to this case, organized the submission of evidences, participated in the hearing organized by the Civil Division III of the Supreme People's Court, and after the hearing, prepared detailed lawyer’s opinions.
