Zhong Yin Law Firm’s Trade Remedy Team Secures Lowest National Duty Rate for Clients in India’s Anti-Dumping Probe on Chinese Titanium Dioxide

On February 12, 2025, India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced its final determination in the anti-dumping investigation concerning titanium dioxide imports from China. Led by Jia Zheng, Head of International Business Department and Senior Partner at Zhong Yin Law Firm, with support from co-counsels Chen Yao and Zhao Ruixuan, the legal team represented four subsidiaries of LB Group (the world’s largest titanium dioxide producer) as well as Shandong Xianghai Titanium Resources Technology Co., Ltd. and Shandong Jinhai Titanium Resources Technology Co., Ltd. (affiliates of Lubei Group) in the case. Their efforts secured the client the nation’s lowest and second-lowest duty rates in the final ruling. India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiated the anti-dumping investigation concerning Chinese titanium dioxide on March 28, 2024.
