From May 18 to 20, 2019, the 11th Beijing Lawyers Congress was held in Beijing. More than 400 people, including Xiong Xuanguo, Party Group Member and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Justice, Zhang Yankun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of Beijing, Kou Fang, Party Group Secretary and President of the Municipal Higher Court, Jing Dali, Party Group Secretary and Prosecutor General of the Municipal Procuratorate, Miao Lin, Party Committee Secretary of the Municipal Judicial Bureau, Wang Junfeng, President of the National Lawyers Association, Wang Qun, Party Committee Secretary of the city’s lawyer profession, and other leaders, as well as lawyer representatives and specially invited representatives across the city attended the congress. Management Committee Chairman and Senior Partner Li Zheng and Senior Partner Huang Yunyan of ZhongYin Law Firm attended the congress.

On May 20, at the Congress, the participants passed the Report on the Work of the Council of the 10th Beijing Lawyers Association, the Report on the Work of the Supervisory Committee of the 10th Beijing Lawyers Association, and the Report on the Membership Fee Income and Expenditure of the 10th Beijing Lawyers Association, and upon voting, all the lawyer representatives elected members of council and supervisory committee of the 11th Beijing Lawyers Association. Huang Yunyan, senior partner of ZhongYin Law Firm, was elected as a member of the new council.
