Recently, represented by Gao Jinghe, the IP team leader and a senior partner of ZhongYin (Shenzhen), RC Environmental Company has won the first-instance trial on the trade secret infringement dispute with MY Petrochemical Company and several natural persons before Zhengzhou IP Tribunal, which ordered MY Petrochemical Company to compensate for economic losses of 1.5 million yuan, and ordered such natural persons to bear joint and several liability for the same to certain extent.

RC Environmental Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fremont International Petrochemical Company in China with a registered capital of USD 15.58 million, and is a national high-tech enterprise mainly engaging in development, design, manufacturing, and sales of combustion equipment for refining and chemical industry. It has dozens of patented inventions and nearly one hundred utility model patents. However, it has suffered technology leakage and customer loss due to the abnormal departure of a few sales personnel and technical personnel. This trade secret infringement litigation is a part of the efforts of RC Environmental Company to protect its intellectual properties.
