Recently, Bank of China Limited (short name BOC) has issued a notice of bid winner. After comprehensive evaluation, the team led by our senior partner Ding Ran and the team led by our senior partner Liu Xiaoyu successfully and jointly won a bid and became the external legal counsels to BOC on domestic bond underwriting and panda bond underwriting, and has become a legal service provider in BOC external legal counsel pool for such underwriting in China.

Ding Ran’s team and Liu Xiaoyu’s team will provide BOC with comprehensive legal services including due diligence, legal document review and legal opinion issuance on domestic bond underwriting and panda bond underwriting.

As the most internationalized and diversified bank in China, BOC provides comprehensive financial services to clients in mainland China and in more than 50 countries and regions. It mainly engages in commercial banking businesses: corporate finance, personal finance and financial market businesses. In 2016, BOC was once again selected as a Global Systemically Important Bank (GSIB), becoming the only financial institution in the emerging market economy that has been selected as GSIB for six consecutive years. In recent years, BOC has built a unique brand in investment banking areas such as panda bond and overseas bond. It has successively assisted Daimler AG and the Philippine Bureau of the Treasury to issue the first non-financial corporate panda bond and the first sovereign panda bond in Southeast Asia respectively, and has won numerous honors in business globalization and service integration.
