On December 14, 2018, ZhongYin Law Firm and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) - Construction Industry Branch (CIB) successfully held a strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony in Beijing. The parties formally reached a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly assist with China's Belt and Road Initiative, escort Chinese companies in the construction industry to get into the international markets, and seek common development.

In the presence of Li Zheng, the vice president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) - Construction Industry Branch (CIB), and Yan Penghe, the director and a senior partner of ZhongYin Law Firm, Cai Mingyong, the deputy secretary general of CCPIT-CIB and the secretary general of CCOIC, and Ma Jinghui, a partner of ZhongYin Law Firm, on behalf of the parties respectively, the agreement was formally executed.

President Assistant Wang Haiyan and Deputy Secretary General Wang Xiaomeng of CCOIC-CIB, and the Management Committee Chairman and Senior Partner Li Zheng, the Supervisory Commission Chairman and Senior Partner Zheng Wei, and Management Committee Members and Senior Partners Liu Zhenyu, Wu Zetao, and Zhou Junli, Senior Partners Xu Min, Zheng Songzhe, and Associates Qi Yanwei, Lai Chunhua and others of ZhongYin attended the signing ceremony and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on how to leverage the specialized, large-scale and internationalized legal practice of ZhongYin to serve the comprehensive innovation and reform deepening of CCOIC-CIB, how to work together for a win-win situation, how to make full use of social resources, comprehensively protect the interests of the industry, and enlarge the advantages of the chamber of commerce, how to actively promote the great implementation of China's Belt and Road Initiative, and how to achieve other strategic objectives.

CCPIT is a national institution for promoting international trade and investment. CCOIC-CIB is a private international economics and trade organization under the leadership of CCPIT, composed of representative individuals, enterprises and groups in China’s construction industry. The purpose of the committee is promoting the trade, investment, and economic and technological cooperation between China and all countries and regions around the world in the construction industry, and enhancing the mutual understanding and friendship between China's construction industry and the construction industry of all countries and regions around the world. It is an important challenge to be confronted by CCOIC-CIB, in response to China’s Belt and Road Initiative, as required by Document No. 86 of the State Council, to coordinate according to laws and regulations of our country with the complicated differences in laws and regulations, ethnic contradictions, and religious and cultural conflicts among different countries along the Belt and Road, and maximize the leverage effect of international business and economics.

In this context, the win-win strategic cooperation between ZhongYin and CCOIC-CIB is particularly important. The construction industry is an important practice area of ZhongYin.
