With joy and uprising spirit of spring, we get into an exciting new year. On the afternoon of January 13, 2019, 2019 Annual Conference of ZhongYin Law Firm with the title of “Keep Original Intention and Share Common Expectation” was held in Beijing. Nearly 500 colleagues from ZhongYin offices in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Zhuhai, Xi'an, Shenyang, Qingdao and other places and from ZLF Law Office, representing nearly 2,600 ZhongYin people nationwide, witnessed the year-end celebration of the firm. The wonderful programs, the solemn commendations, and the surprising lucky-draws, made everyone present feel the warmth and joy of gathering. During the conference, everyone interacted and talked about development, which reflects the warm and harmonious atmosphere and the team spirit of “work together to create brilliant future” of ZhongYin family.

Our 2018

Li Zheng, the management committee chairman and a senior partner of ZhongYin, delivered a speech on the theme of “Our 2018” and reported the major events and achievements of ZhongYin in 2018:

The total revenue generated by the firm increased by 27% on a year-on-year basis;

The staff number grew steadily;

The firm was recognized by authoritative law rating agencies such as Chambers and LEGALBAND;

Liu Yandong, a member of the 18th Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC and the former vice premier of the State Council, visited ZLF Law Office to exchange views;

A new executive partner and the members of the new management committee were elected;

The first supervisory committee was formally established;

12 practice departments were reorganized;

The legal status of the firm was changed to special general partnership;

The “ZhongYin Securities and Finance Dispute Mediation Center” was officially founded;

The firm is about to relocate to Zhengda Center, a 5A office building.

The Director's Speech

Time changes, ZhongYin is like a ship bravely marching forward in the storm. Facing 2019, Yan Penghe, the director and a senior partner of the firm, proposed some reform and innovation ideas.

Yan Penghe pointed out that: at the time of this celebration, we appreciate every colleague and former colleague who have contributed to the development of the head and branch offices of ZhongYin in the past 26 years, and appreciate every predecessor and friend whom we have got along or have not got alone in the lawyer profession.

In 2018, ZhongYin wrote some stories and encountered a few challenges, but it gained more. Any challenges and difficulties will become the driving force of the reform and innovation of ZhongYin and strengthen its determination of reform and innovation. In this new year, ZhongYin will continue to reinforce reform and innovation in four aspects:

On the foundation of fully development of democracy, we will improve the mechanism for centralized, scientific and efficient decision-making;

We will continue to strengthen the construction of specialized departments and national professional committees of ZhongYin, promote various academic innovations and professional exchanges both in the head and branch offices, and enhance the influence of ZhongYin in the industry and make it more professional;

We will help more partners grow into masters in their respective practicing areas;

We will improve the training and promotion channels to help young lawyers grow more rapidly leveraging the platform of ZhongYin.

In the new year, we will be firm in our development direction and positioning: “ZhongYin is a leading law firm in the practice area of finance and securities, and a law firm welcomed by young partner and associates”. We hope that in the new year, all 2600 colleagues in ZhongYin will learn from each other, share experience with each other, trust each other more, be more containment with each other, and make each other better person.
