On May 11, 2020, leaders such as Li Feng, Shi Xiao, and Yang Yang from the Organization Department of Committee of Chaoyang District, and Wang Changhong from the Party Committee of Lawyer Profession of Chaoyang District, visited ZhongYin Law Firm to conduct field inspections on the work of advancing the establishment of a Party Committee.

This meeting was chaired by Wu Zetao, a member of the Party General Branch and Management Committee of ZhongYin. The secretary and members of the Party General Branch, the secretary and members of each Party branch, Party member representatives, democratic party representatives, mass representatives, and others attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the leaders from the Organization Department listened to a general report made by Li Zheng, Party General Branch Secretary and Management Committee Chairman of ZhongYin, on the Party building work of ZhongYin. Li Zheng pointed out that: ZhongYin Law Firm established its Party branch in June 2008, and has developed it into a Party general branch with 8 Party branches (including a joint party branch) so far; ZhongYin (Beijing) now has 213 Party members. Over the years, the Party General Branch has always been unwaveringly following the pace of the Party Central Committee, and as instructed by the higher-level leaders, have been effectively carrying out the party building work. For the next step, the Party General Branch will strengthen the close contact with the Party branches of the branch offices across the country, and start communication and exchange with the Party committees and Party branches of other law firms, to give full play to the Party organization’s role as a political leader in the decision-making and management of ZhongYin.

Li Zheng emphasized that ZhongYin Party-member attorneys played an important role and demonstrated exemplary power during the outbreak of the epidemic. Internally, the Party General Branch of ZhongYin Law Firm launched a donation initiative together with ZhongYin Charity Fund immediately; notified all attorneys of ZhongYin in a timely manner, requiring them to do a good job in fighting against the epidemic and to handle official business on site or over the internet, and made a series of anti-epidemic arrangements such as disinfection of office areas and reservation of anti-epidemic supplies. Externally, ZhongYin Party-member attorneys went into the communities, actively participated in the anti-epidemic work of the communities, and assisted the communities in carrying out the quarantine work; devoted themselves to the law publicity activities in the communities, provided legal assistance and free legal counseling services, and actively fulfilled their social responsibilities. Moreover, ZhongYin internally organized a series of online trainings for public interest, “ZhongYin Cloud-Based Lecture Hall”. Many attorneys from the head and branch offices actively responded and contributed with their meager strength to the activities, which were well received by online audiences.

The Party member representatives (Yang Baoquan, Member of the Disciplinary Inspection Committee of the Party General Branch; Jiang Dongxia, Secretary of the Sixth Party Branch), democratic party representative (Ge Youshan, Member of the Management Committee), and mass representative (Ding Yonghong, Manager of Financial Department) expressed their affirmation of and sincere expectation for the Party building work of ZhongYin. ZhongYin Law Firm will further promote the construction of the Party committee, and encourage more and more attorneys to actively participate in the Party building work of ZhongYin and actively fulfill their social responsibilities; strengthen the cohesiveness within ZhongYin, and be more confident on the road of development. The Party General Branch will actively play the role as a political center, influence the staff of ZhongYin, and promote the development of ZhongYin. Ge Youshan also mentioned that the democratic parties would further strengthen the communication and coordination with the Party General Branch, and actively participate in the management and specialization of ZhongYin.

Later, accompanied by Li Zheng and Wu Zetao, the visiting leaders inspected the overall environment of ZhongYin and provided valuable guidance. ZhongYin Law Firm will effectively implement the leaders’ instructions, continue to thoroughly implement the general requirements for the Party building in the new era put forward at the 19th National Congress of the CPC, fully implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th National Congress of the CPC, channel more efforts to the standardization of the Party branches, remain true to our original aspiration and keep our missions in mind, continuously strengthen the integration of the Party building and the practice development, and achieve a virtuous cycle in which the Party building and the development promote each other, to lay a solid foundation for the sound and rapid development of Zhongyin.
