Zhang Pengfei holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Master’s degree in Law. As a legal researcher, he brings nearly a decade of experience at a high-level court and over two decades of service in a central government research institution, alongside 23 years as a part-time practicing lawyer. He has represented clients in nearly a hundred civil, criminal, arbitration, and legal aid cases. Leveraging his interdisciplinary expertise and comprehensive background in judicial practice, legislative work, and legal research, Mr. Zhang has successfully handled several high-profile civil and criminal retrial cases involving complex legal issues. During his public service tenure, he served as the lead legal counsel for his agency, resolving multiple petition cases and preventing hundreds of millions of yuan in state-owned asset losses. Mr. Zhang drafted the application for the establishment of the National Lawyers College and was a scriptwriter for the documentary For Justice and Fairness, which focused on judicial system reforms.

Qian Wenhan specializes in corporate bankruptcy and restructuring, liquidation, and debt reorganization, with a strong focus on legal services for distressed enterprises. He is well-versed in the entire bankruptcy process and adept at navigating complex stakeholder dynamics, designing tailored debt resolution or restructuring plans to meet diverse needs. Mr. Qian has extensive experience in key bankruptcy trustee responsibilities, including asset preservation, creditor communications and stabilization, employee resettlement, real estate development bankruptcy cases, and the disposal of special assets such as mining rights and coking production capacity.

Yan Xingzhi holds a Master’s degree in Law from North China Electric Power University and provides long-term legal services to clients in the energy and environmental sectors, covering investment and M&A, debt financing, compliance advisory, and dispute resolution. In recent years, Mr. Yan has focused on advising investors in equity/debt investment projects, including dozens of M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector involving large state-owned and central state-owned enterprises (SOEs). He has systematically participated in providing legal services for new energy projects, including preliminary feasibility studies and advisory services, bidding, project construction and operation, dispute resolution, national subsidy compliance verification and response, and asset securitization, accumulating substantial hands-on experience. Additionally, Mr. Yan has provided specialized legal services for multiple issuers in the issuance of offshore bonds, corporate bonds, enterprise bonds, financial bonds, government special bonds, and interbank market products. Serving as lead project counsel, he has also acted as long-term legal counsel for several leading central SOEs and SOEs, with in-depth expertise in the compliance requirements of their daily operations. Mr. Yan has also represented clients in dozens of civil and commercial cases related to corporate operations, including disputes over construction contracts, equity transfers, profit distribution, shareholder status recognition, and shareholder right-to-information actions, etc.
