Held by Hongkong Zhonglian Law department, Cooperated between the Ministry of justice, Hongkong and Macao administration judicial Bureau, lawyers association and law firms around the country, the activity “Overseas students from Hongkong’ internship program 2017 “The Belt and Road”” was held successfully. On August 4th, 2017, at the end of the four weeks internship, Zhongyin Law Firm held “Praise for the youth, and two legal youth share growth” theme exchange Meeting, to enhance the understanding of lawyers working in different legal system of Hongkong law interns and Zhongyin youth lawyers, and explore the legal culture of the mainland and Hongkong. Zhongyin Law Firm’s CMC chairman Li Ju, member Li Zheng, Zhou Junli, senior partner Huang Yunyan and a number of young lawyers attended the exchange meeting.

On the meeting, Hongkong interns report the results of their 4 weeks study, and said that although the practice life was short, through study and work, they had further understanding of the legal system and judicial environment in the mainland. At the same time, on their opinion, they shared the differences and similarities between the mainland and Hongkong in law firms, lawyers and other aspects.

Lawyer Li Ju briefly described the management model and judicial status of the mainland law firm, hope that through the internship program, the students can learn in the judicial environment, the direction of practice and other aspects, in the future, under “The Belt and Road” policy, they can use their knowledge to serve Hongkong and our country.

Lawyer Li Zheng, Combined with his own experience and understanding, made description of the mainland law firms’ development trend from technology and income.

Lawyer Zhou Junli discussed with the students for the trends in legal services and internet connectivity in the future, and hope that through this internship program, the two young lawyers can establish an emotional link, and promote the good relations between the two places.

Lawyer Huang Yunyan affirmed the attitude of Hongkong interns to study and work hard. She gave a detailed account of the current law firms in the mainland, emphasized the importance of career choice and continuous learning, hope that the students can give full play to the advantages, choose the mainland practice, and look forward to more communication with the students in the future.

On the meeting, Hongkong interns communicated with lawyer Yang Baoquan and other lawyers about their future practice intention, direction and other issue.

The mainland and Hongkong are linked together, it is the two parts’ duty to construct learning platform for students. Zhongyin Law Firm supported the work and study of Hongkong interns with practical actions, making them spend a very rewarding vacation in the mainland. This exchange meeting is not only a communication between our young lawyers and Hongkong interns, but also a wonderful collision between the mainland legal culture and Hongkong.
