From April 28 to April 30, 2019, the 7th Lawyers Congress of Chengdu was held in Wangjiang Hotel. Guo Longwei, the Honorary Director and Senior Partner of ZhongYin (Chengdu), attended the congress as a representative. After the election by all the representatives of the congress and the members of the 7th Board of Supervisors, Guo Longwei was elected as the Deputy Chief Supervisor of the 7th Chengdu Lawyers Association with honor.

As of December 2018, there were 13 081 practicing lawyers and 731 law firms in Chengdu, ranked third among sub-provincial cities across the country and fifth among all cities across the country. This congress was a grand event for the lawyer profession in Chengdu. 274 lawyer representatives and 48 specially invited representatives from 20 districts, county-level cities and counties of Chengdu attended the congress.

I will perform my supervision duties diligently and carefully to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the lawyers across the city, and to contribute to the association's carrying out work according to laws and regulations and the healthy development of Chengdu lawyer profession under the leadership of the party committee of the lawyers profession by consistently carrying forward the fine style of work of the Board of Supervisors of the Chengdu Lawyers Association,.

Guo Longwei is an excellent lawyer in Sichuan, a member of the Sichuan Talent Pool - Legal Expert, an external supervisor of masters of the Law School of Sichuan University, a part-time professor of the Law School of Southwest Minzu University, a legal counsel to the Provincial Consumer Council, and a mediator/arbitrator of CIETAC /Chengdu Arbitration Commission.
