On March 4th-5th, 2017, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Justice and Provincial Lawyers Association held the eighth session of the seventh council (expansion) & forum on the work of lawyers in Nanjing. Liu Yuxiang, the Party Committee secretary and head of Provincial Justice Department, attended the conference and spoke, Wan Li, the deputy director of the Provincial Department of Justice and provincial Party Committee secretary of lawyers association, and Xue Jimin, the president of the provincial lawyers association, attended the conference.

In order to award advanced people, promote righteousness and the development of lawyers industry, the meeting awarded the volunteers who participated in the work volunteering to Tibet and other regions without lawyers and “1+1” Chinese legal aid, awarded Beijing Zhongyin (Nanjing) Law Firm a group second-class merit citation, and awarded others law firm’s eight lawyers an individual second-class merit citation.

Recently, Jiangsu lawyers took actively part in the volunteer activities: Tibet and other regions without lawyers and “1+1” Chinese legal aid, and volunteer legal services in remote areas. Zhongyin(Nanjing) Law Firm make full use of their professional advantages, took actively part in the volunteer, commit to publicity of legal , legal services and legal aid in the remote areas, contribute to maintaining stability and unity and promoting the building of law, and they were well received by the local Party committee, government, and the masses.
