The Department of Planning, Finance and Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD) has recently approved the project initiation for, and took charge of the Private Construction Enterprises’ Participation in Promoting the Belt and Road Initiative together with the Construction Industry Sub-council under the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) . As the only legal service provider, ZhongYin Law Firm has been designated as a member of the research project and is responsible for the part of the research on market, policy, business environment, laws and regulations, and the like related to private construction enterprises’ Going Global strategy. On September 3, 2019, the Belt and Road Construction Industry Society of ZhongYin Law Firm held a special meeting, and discussed warmly on the foregoing issues related to private construction enterprises’ Going Global strategy. The meeting was chaired by Ma Jinghui, a senior partner of the firm. The director and a senior partner of the firm, Yan Penghe and Liu Zhenyu, a management committee member and senior partner paid much attention to the meeting. Sun Jian, a supervisory committee member and senior partner of the firm, the senior partner Wang Ting, as well as associates such as Hou Shiling, Qi Yanwei, Niu Baoyuan, and Shi Yumei will participate in the research.

The research on Private Construction Enterprises’ Participation in Promoting the Belt and Road Initiative has brought together top experts in the construction industry and the legal profession to jointly facilitate private construction enterprises’ participation in promoting the “Belt and Road” Initiative. They aim to, by surveying and analyzing the private construction enterprises’ Going Global strategy, studying the needs of the small and medium-sized enterprises proposing to go global, and sorting out the confusions experienced by the private enterprises in the process of going global, forming final recommendations and opinions as well as research results, for reference by relevant national authorities in making policies. Specifically, 7 enterprises and public institutions are responsible for the researches on 7 topics, and ZhongYin Law Firm has the honor to be one of them by virtue of its solid professional competence.
