The 3rd Senior Partner Meeting of Zhongyin for 2018 Is Held in Beijing

On August 18, 2018, the third senior partner meeting of Zhongyin Law Firm for 2018 was held in Beijing for deliberating and discussing various issues such as establishment of practice departments, introduction of talents, and management of branch offices. Yan Penghe, the director and a senior partner of the firm, chaired the meeting; Li Zheng, the chairman of the management committee and a senior partner of the firm, Zheng Wei, the chairman of the supervisory committee and a senior partner of the firm, Dong Wan, Jia Zheng, Tan Jun, and Wu Guanghong, members of the management committee and senior partners of the firm, Zhang Xiaojun, a member of the supervisory committee and a senior partner of the firm, and other senior partners attended the meeting.
Optimize practice and talent management
In order to deepen the specialization reform of the firm comprehensively, identify the division of labor, strengthen the cooperation within the firm, integrate resources and expand practices, at this meeting, the senior partners deliberated on how to set up practice departments including personnel composition and work guidelines, and expressed their opinions on conditions and requirements for talent introduction, talents’ rights and obligations, compensation and benefits, performance evaluation, and other related issues. Moreover, they revised relevant provisions of the management measures for the entry to and exit from the firm, and further improved the basic management system of the firm.
Strengthen the integration of the head and branch offices
The firm has always pay great attention to the management of branch offices. With increasing risk involved in practice of law, strengthening the integration of the head and branch offices is the top priority of all management tasks. At this meeting, the senior partners discussed the integration of the internal audit & quality control mechanism, specialization development, marketing & advertising, information construction of the head and branch offices, and the regulation of the mode of cooperation among the head and branch offices, emphasis on performance of contractual obligations by the branch offices, and other related issues, so as to enhance practice symbiosis, resource sharing, and win-win cooperation among the head and branch offices.
Report financial budget
The steady development of the firm is inseparable from the rational use of internal funds. At this meeting, the budget for the second half of 2018 and the budget for the new office renovation were reported to the senior partners, and the details of the budgets were explained and accounted for to the attendees.
This is the first meeting of senior partners held after the election of the current management committee. The attendees have reached a consensus on various issues after making sufficient statements and suggestions. In the context of the new era, the firm will continue to face new opportunities and new challenges by reflecting itself and taking a long-term perspective. The new management committee and the partners will also put the interests of the firm first, focus on development, promote reform, and lead the firm to participate in market competition with new spirit and new image and enhance brand value.
