On October 20, 2018, the “Joint Meeting of Head and Branch Offices & Global Managing Partner Meeting of Zhong Yin Law Firm” was held in Beijing. More than 50 attendees including the director Yan Penghe, the chairman of the management committee Li Zheng, the former director Liu Guangbin, management committee members and supervisory committee members of the head office, heads of branches, and senior partners of Zhong Yin Law Firm attended the meeting. At the meeting, the attendees had in-depth discussions on positioning and development ideas of Zhong Yin Law Firm, the working rules of its Global Managing Partners’ Committee, the specific implementation plan for the integration of its head and branch offices, and other issues. The head and branch offices reached a broad consensus on these issues, which created a good situation where all branches of Zhong Yin Law Firm are united as one to look forward.

This meeting is the first joint meeting of the head and branch offices after the generation of the new management team of the firm. In the spirit of inheritance and development, Liu Guangbin introduced the members of the new management committee and the new supervisory committee of the head office, representatives from branch offices and partners attended the meeting. Li Zheng, the chairman of the management committee of the firm, briefed the attendees on the labor division within the management committee of the head office and the latest developments of the firm. Li Zheng summarized the recent progress achieved by Zhong Yin Law Firm: the number of partners and associates in the head and branch offices has been growing steadily; the total number of ZhongYin people nationwide has reached 2,560; based on the original 25 branches and 1 joint venture, the firm is steadily expanding into the emerging markets. ZhongYin are representing clients on more and more nationally renowned cases and large-scale legal service projects, and ZhongYin brand is becoming more and more influential. Zhong Yin Law Firm will continue to promote the physicalizing of the practice departments, complete the integration of the internal audit & quality control system, and strengthen the integration of marketing & branding. The supervisory committee is a new body formed upon election at 2018 Partner Meeting of Zhong Yin Law Firm. The senior partner Zhang Xiaojun, as a representative of the supervisory committee, narrated the supervision committee's work ideas in protecting the rights and interests of the partners, maintaining fairness and justice, and ensuring the orderly and healthy operation of the firm, etc.

At this meeting, the head of each branch introduced the development status of their respective branch, and exchanged views on industry development trends, lawyer practice risks, market share and common problems in law firm operations. Tan Jun, a member of the management committee of the head office, interpreted a series of internal audit systems currently implemented by the head office. Liu Zhenyu, another member, informed the progress of the physicalizing of the practice departments of the head office. After thorough and in-depth discussions, the representatives from the head and branch offices unanimously voted for and signed the “Working Rules for Joint Meeting of the Head and Branch Offices & Global Managing Partner Committee of Zhong Yin Law Firm”, and unanimously agreed to establish a “Global Managing Partners’ Committee of Zhong Yin Law Firm”. At the meeting, they also unanimously voted for the “Internal Audit Management Rules of the Head and Branch Offices of Zhong Yin Law Firm” and unanimously agreed to prepare for establishing professional committees of ZhongYin Global based on the “Management Measures for the Practice Departments of Zhong Yin (Beijing) Law Firm” issued by the head office.

At the meeting, the attendees also actively discussed issues such as the national market advertising fund and the integration of OA system of head and branch offices. Moreover, they discussed relevant problems that are urgently needed to be solved in the management of head and branch offices, and reached a consensus on solving the problems.

The meeting ended successfully in an atmosphere of unity and harmony. ZhongYin’s head and branch offices reached a broad consensus on many important development issues and management issues, which injected a strong impetus into the future development of Zhong Yin Law Firm.
