Zhong Yin Trade Remedy Practice Group represents the client in India's anti-dumping investigation against China’s tempered glass and wins zero tariff rate

On August 30, 2023, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (India) announced the final judgment on the anti-dumping investigation against China’s tempered glass. Mr. Jia Zheng, the senior partner and director in the International Trade and Maritime practice group of Zhong Yin Law Firm, represented Jiangsu Xiuqiang Glasswork Co., Ltd., Zhongshan Meiyi Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. and Jiangyin Suifeng Glass Co., Ltd. to respond to the investigation, and assisted these three companies in winning zero tariff rate in the final decision, achieving a complete victory. This is one of the best results obtained in the past five years for Chinese exporting entities in India’s anti-dumping investigation against China. In this case, the tax rates applied for most of other Chinese exporting entities range from $41.8/ton to $243/ton. On September 30, 2022, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (India) made an announcement to initiate an anti-dumping investigation against tempered glass originating in China.
