At present, our country is greatly affected by the epidemic of pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus, and local governments require enterprises to postpone the resumption of work. Many countries in the world have enhanced entry restrictions, which will inevitably have a significant impact on certain enterprises' normal production and operation activities such as import and export, employment, domestic trade, contract performance, bid-calling and bidding. In order to actively respond to the epidemic and help enterprises safeguard their legitimate rights and interests and reduce economic losses, the China Chamber Of Commerce of Medicines & Health Products Importers & Exporters (CCCMHPIE) has specially invited 4 well-known domestic and foreign law firms to form a “CCCMHPIE Legal Services Expert Team” to jointly launch an initiative of legal service for public interest. Management Committee Members and Senior Partners Jia Zheng and Liu Xiaoyu will, on behalf of ZhongYin Law Firm, provide legal counseling services to enterprises.

This initiative of legal service for public interest is tentatively scheduled to start on February 8, 2020 and end on February 29, 2020, subject to adjustment as appropriate based on the epidemic containment conditions. Attorney Jia Zheng will be in charge of legal counseling on international trade and trade remedy, and Liu Xiaoyu on contract dispute. The two lawyers will, as specifically needed by enterprises, coordinate ZhongYin branches and pool their best resources to provide enterprises with high-quality legal services for public interest.
