Vincent Tan has extensive experiences in handling cross-border equity investments, construction contract disputes under FIDIC terms, international trade disputes, and other related areas.

1. Provided legal services for a a Singaporean company’s liquidation proceedings initiated by a Hong Kong company (in English, amount in dispute approximately USD 26 million);

2. Represented a Russian company in applying to the Xiamen Intermediate Court for the recognition and enforcement of a foreign arbitral award.

3. Represented a client in a foreign-invested enterprise dispute heard by the Zhuhai Court of International Arbitration(in English).  

4. Served as an expert witness in the recognition and enforcement of a Jiangxi court’s effective judgment at the Hong Kong High Court.  

5. Served as a Mainland Chinese legal expert witness in a cross-border equity dispute heard by the Hong Kong High Court (amount in dispute approximately CNY 100 million).  

6. Served as the defendant’s Mainland Chinese legal expert witness in the inheritance case of Li Chiloi heard by the Hong Kong High Court.  

7. Represented a domestic company in a private equity dispute against a renowned foreign investment institution heard by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (in English, amount in dispute approximately USD 150 million).  

8. Represented a state-owned enterprise from Anhui Province in a construction contract dispute related to a project in Pakistan, heard by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).  

9. Represented China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Second Construction Co., Ltd. in a construction contract dispute against a wholly-owned subsidiary of a Hong Kong-listed company heard by the Inner Mongolia High Court (amount in dispute approximately CNY 670 million).  

10. Represented a Shenzhen engineering company in a construction contract dispute against a Shenzhen construction center heard by the Shenzhen Arbitration Commission (amount in dispute approximately CNY 130 million).  

11. Represented a Taiwanese-funded enterprise in a construction contract dispute.  

12. Represented a Shenzhen logistics company in a debt agreement dispute against a Hong Kong limited company and others, heard by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (amount in dispute approximately CNY 120 million).

14. Represented Shenzhen Growatt New Energy Co., Ltd. in an international product quality dispute against a wholly-owned subsidiary of a Taiwanese-listed company in Suzhou, involving issues in the UK, Australia, and other countries, heard by the Suzhou Huqiu District People’s Court.  

15. Represented Sichuan Textiles Import and Export Group Co., Ltd. in a series of maritime cargo transport contract disputes against a Shenzhen international logistics company.  

16. Represented Hong Kong Pacific Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. in an international trade contract dispute with a U.S. company and its communications division.  

17. Represented Hong Kong International Group (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd.in an international trade contract dispute with a renowned German company;

18. Represented a Mainland company regarding a contract dispute with a Hong Kong life insurance company (in English).  

19. Provided legal services for a Shenzhen fund company’s acquisition of equity interest of subsidiaries of a French company.  

20. Provided legal services for a merger and acquisition case involving a Chinese company and a Singaporean company, among others (amount in dispute approximately CNY 2 billion).
